Grace Of Home

Posted by vonn on April 26, 2007 in Reflection |

250 miles south of Chicago there is a place I get to go to that reminds me of my truths and my center.  Where the trees sway in the soft, first breezes of spring and the stars fight each other for room in the sky.

There is a swing on the porch and you can sit and listen and not hear a man-made sound for the longest time.  The air smells sweeter, the time moves slower and the stress feels lighter.

When it is time to return to the daily deadlines, noise, expectations and stress, I know that I have refilled my soul with the grace of home.
